- Hotel Conneaut is open!
The Hotel Conneaut at Conneaut Lake Park is once again open and now accepting reservations. For more information or to make a reservation call 814-213-0120. There's plenty going on at the park this Labor Day weekend with live music at the Beach Club Saturday & Sunday, DJ Tony & Loby at the Down Under, a teen dance in Dockside Sunday night, and a Volleyball tournament on the beach Sunday afternoon. Watch the fireworks from the boardwalk Saturday at 9pm.

- Beach Club Re-Opens this weekend!
The Beach Club and Down Under Bar at Conneaut Lake Park will officially re-open this weekend. Hours of operation for the Beach Club will be Friday, 4pm - 2am; Saturday 11am - 2am; Sunday 11am - 10pm. Down Under will open on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

- Deal reached to lease parts of the park.
It was announced today that a group of 4 Conneaut Lake area businessmen have reached a deal with the CLP board of directors to lease portions of the park. Renovations to the Beach Club will begin immediately and the facility should be open by the end of August. Work will also begin on renovating the rooms at Hotel Conneaut soon with plans to open 60-80 rooms as the work completes. This deal will also help pay down the existing debt and construct a building to house new water filtration equipment for the park water system. A Haunted Park event is planned for October with the possibility of the Devils Den and Train rides being used.

- Hollywood comes to CLP
A portion of the motion picture "The Road" will be filmed at CLP later this month. Based on the Pulitzer prize-winning novel of the same name, the post-apocalyptic film stars Robert Duvall, Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron.

- Former Park Bowling Alley Collapses
The building across the midway from the remains of the Dreamland Ballroom collapsed over the weekend. The building originally opened as a bowling alley prior to housing a fun house and the Ultimate Trip in it's final years. The building had been closed following a partial roof collapse in 2006.

- Dreamland Ballroom destroyed by fire
The Dreamland Ballroom at Conneaut Lake Park is gone following an early morning fire at the park. Also destroyed in the fire were a section of midway buildings and important maintenance and storage areas. The park had no fire insurance coverage on the buildings. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

- Park board accepting lease proposals
The Conneaut Lake Park board of directors is accepting proposals from developers interested in leasing all or parts of the closed amusement park. Areas of the park available to lease include Hotel Conneaut, Beach Club and Dockside, Dreamland Ballroom, all the amusement rides, Camperland, midway and the marina.
