Hi, me and maybe two others will be there for saturday...
are they doing rooms for Sat night?
if so, we'll do both days.... I sent an email to the above addy to confirm sat day...
my cell is 216-269-4547 if you can reach me with info for the weekend if the have redueced rate for the weekened....

I know camperland is open. I called them and spoke with Audry on Saturday. We are staying in cabin 4. I don't know if they are full yet or not. If you get the voicemail just leave her a message and they will get back with you.

Yes Camperland is open and cabins are free to volunteers and a few tent sites will be just call camperland and let them know you are a volunteer.
Same with the Hotel who is offering rooms for $35 a night and $65 for Fri and Sat. Just call the hotel to make a reservation and let them know you are a volunteer.
I already have my room booked on the third foor.

Things to bring: any gardening tools, trash bags, paint brushes & rollers, if you have carpentry tools we have picnic tables to be repaired.
If you would like to donate flowers you can bring them (as for planting them we may have to wait)…..if you want your tools back please put your name on them.
Lunches will be provided
Rooms are available at the hotel Conneaut at a discounted rate: $35.00/night or $65.00/Friday and Saturday. Contact the hotel at 814-213-0120. You must tell them you are a volunteer to receive the discount.
We have 5 free cabins at camperland and free sites. Contact the park at 814-382-5115 and leave a message it is first come first serve
RSVP for cleanup is not required but it is appreciated to help us plan for lunches.

We had a great day Saturday. There are nearly no more leaves in the park. The midway from the front to gift shop is clear. The waterpark including the dreaded lazy river (thanks Sara, Jimmyt, & Cappy) is done. A great group of 10 or so knocked out the mini golf. Another group took care of kiddieland and it looks great. I was unable to stay for Sunday, however there is still plenty to do. The picnic pavilions are receiving a fresh coat of paint and the Lisko's were going to let volunteers polish brass at the carousel. Moyer landscaping arrived with a dump truck full of mulch and started mulching and plant trimming. Down at the hotel all of the flower beds have been cleaned out and cleared. I believe another group was able to start in Camperland and the store is preparing for the season.
The blue streak boys and I were able to clear a downed tree that was laying on the train track out near the road. We were able to take numerous runs to the dump with leaves and other typical yard debrise. We were also able to clear out another portion of the coaster and it looks great. Thanks everyone for the extremely productive cleanup. I bet we had close to 60 on Saturday....people that is not degrees. It was a little chilly.
