I wonder if they will show the progress on donations up to date?

I was up at Conneaut yesterday on business and took a run past the Park. I had concerns about any damage from all of the snow, but I am pleased to say that I saw no damage at all. The roofs look fine. I saw that the trains were out in the Blue Streak station, I didn't see any of that wood that bluestreak2010 reported. The station actually looked better than I thought it did, a good power wash and some paint will make it look good as new. I was surprised at the progress made on the boardwalk. I counted 12 8 foot sections done and they have about another 32 foot removed and starting to frame. So I'd say its almost half way done on the decking and railing.
i didnt see any work that was done but i was able to see some one doing something with wood it looked like they were puting it on the track

from what i have heard the NAD's wheel's and the axle's are to wide for the track and previous damage to the blue streak was from the NAD train so whats the point of using it again

Thank Jack Moyers for shoring the roof on the Dodgem....good call Jack !!!! He called me for help one day, unfortunately, I couldn't help, but he got it done, and it's a good thing, with all the snow and roof collapes we had this year...imho, this is something the volunteers should do in the fall...if it conflicts with the Haunted Park using it, then they should promptly shore it up as soon as they are finished with it. If they don't agree to that, then don't let them use that building, it's as simple as that....

I heard that too, but I don't buy it....we ran those NAD trains for years when I worked there, and other than routine maintenance, no significant track work was needed....

Well it must have been doing something otherwise they would be still using other than the ptc train and i've also read that they started using the ptc train because of damage from the nad train

I think they should put steel for supports on the Blue Streak instead of wood have wooden track but have steel supports
its an idea for the Blue Streak
as for the NAD trains they should fix the axels on the trains they should use a car from GL woodies or use the PTC train like they have been
I hope we get the old girl going again soon
A good idea would be to replace all of the replaced wood because I'm guessing that alot of that wood isn't doing its job much anymore. Keep in mind it's just an idea of mine that wouldn't happen because the park would go bankrupt and its just a wast.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL PEOPLE, THERE IS NO PTC TRAIN, IT WAS DESIGNED BY VETTLE.

Also the NAD train WILL run on the track, the person who talked about it being not gauged right didn't know what he was talking about. But Im going to bet that they'll run the vettle train. I personally prefer the vettle train, it just seems like a perfect match for it. Its sister coaster still runs with a vettle train

I found a picture of a train they used on the Blue Streak with the parks logo on a flat front years ago what ever happened to that train was it sold or put into storage it looked really cool it was used in a video in 1989 then they switched to the one with the lights so they must have had four NAD trains at one time only two Vettle Trains one they have been using one that is beyond repair

Just wondering - realistically, when does some actual work need to start to have any chance of the BS being up and running for say, June?
