I thought I would post this for jimmyt. This note was sent out by Laura Gramelt to all the Park volunteers to let them know the sad news about the death of jimmyt's father. Both of jimmyt's parents are big supporters of the Park and I think he would be really, really pleased at Laura's idea of buying a board on the Boardwalk in his memory and helping to keep things improving.


Dear volunteers,

I am writing today to give you some bad news. Jim Tolbert (betty’s husband) pasted away this week. I just received the phone call last night calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 tonight at Murphy funeral home in Rochester, Pa ……with this being such short notice it would be imposable for us to send flowers so what I plan to do is to take a collection to have a board for the board walk made in his memory the boards are 100.00 and I am sure we will collect well over that so any money over that will be given to the park as a donation to the park in jims name or if there is a charity that is listed we could do that……please if you would like to donate send me a check payable to me with jims name in the memo………as you all know betty is the back bone of the volunteers and the park means a lot to her…Jim was a great man who loved his wife with all his heart and I think that he would like something to make betty smile.

Thats just sad... I will be having a prayer for Jim and his Family. Thanks for the Support Jim! You will be missed.
